What is Lyxfällan and what is Kronofogden? Those are questions we need to answer in English before we continue discussing the topic. Lyxfällan is a Swedish show about personal finance, and revolves around Swedish people that are in high debt and with really bad spending habits. What does 2026 hold?

I had the fortune of having a "Christmas break" - which left me some time to think about what 2026 will hold. I made 3 observations that I feel are solid enough to actually write down. Here we go: I have been thinking about this throughout 2025, ever since Trump was inaugurated. From Outlook to ProtonMail 🟪

Recently, our family made the switch from using Microsoft Outlook to ProtonMail for our email needs, and so far, it’s been a positive experience. Here’s a look at why we made the change, how the transition went, and what we think of ProtonMail compared to Outlook. For years, Microsoft allowed custom domain names with Outlook if you had an Office 365 Family subscription. It all started during a vacation in Luxembourg with my girlfriend. We were on a budget-friendly trip, hopping around Europe using buses and trains, and one day we found ourselves in Luxembourg with some time to spare. LiveOL: A 10-year retrospective

LiveOL is an app that leverages the live result API to display real-time results for orienteering competitions. As it approaches its tenth anniversary, this is a technical retrospective on its journey, highlighting key milestones and lessons learned. The name LiveOL comes from "Live" (self explanatory), and "OL" which in Swedish is "Orienteringslöpning" which means "Orienteering running" - kind of. The project began on May 9, 2015, during my second year of high school. I had just started coding for mobile devices using PhoneGap (Cordova), which allowed me to build apps with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. At the time, jQuery was still popular so I used that.
